About the Partner

Google is a multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware Developer Student Clubs (DSC) is a Google Developers program for university students to learn mobile and web development skills. The clubs will be open to any student, ranging from novice developers who are just starting, to advanced developers who want to further their skills.

Details of the Partnership

Google offers Android Application Development Fundamentals course, which is designed with a Google Developer Certification in mind. Upon completion of the course, students will have been introduced to all content contained in the Certification exam KL University has Collaborative agreement with the Google India to introduce the ‘Android Developer Fundamentals’ as a Credited course, which will be offered to the III year CSE students. It is expected that every year 1500+ students will be trained per year

B.E / B.Tech students pursuing 3rd year and 4th year of graduation in:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Electronics and Communications Engineering

This course is Credited course for Students pursuing 3rd-year graduation in Computer Science and Engineering. They can develop android applications from Basic level to Apps with Advanced features like Maps, Places.

Other branch Students:

Students can learn this course online (at own pace with guided learning paths at no cost) The course contents are Designed and developed by Google India Developers.

Developer Student Clubs

KL University has a Developers Student club. The students of the club are actively conduct events of the Developers student club.

What are Developer Student Clubs (DSCs)?

DSC is a Google Developers program for university students, designed to help them build their mobile and web development skills and knowledge. It is open to any student, ranging from novice developers who are just starting, to advanced developers who want to further their skills. It is intended to be a space for students to learn and collaborate as they solve mobile and web development problems.

What is the role of a Lead?

Set up the Developer Student Club on campus.

Organize and teach mobile development to fellow students.

Enable more students to be trainers and support them in conducting sessions.

Identify local organizations that can benefit from mobile solutions, and facilitate solution development initiatives.

Host showcases and other sessions to highlight the solutions.
