International conference on Advances in English Studies and Women Empowerment-2015 by IMRF in collaboration with Department of English K L University ,Vaddeswaram, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh recorded an exemplary attendance of 185 delegates from home and abroad included the countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Yemen, Oman and Egypt. The inaugural Session witnessed the gorgeous presence of the Chief Guest from Sanaa University, Repubnlic of Yemen while the Guest of Honour Dr. Lakshmi Haribandi from the English and Foreign Language University. The conference was rich with the plenary Speeches in Literature ,Language and Translation Studies in English respectively by ,Telangana ; Dr.Syed Ali ,Professor of English ,Dhofar University,Oman; Dr.C.L.L.jayaprada ,Professor of English , Andhara University,Visakhapatnam,Andhra Pradesh; Dr.M.Rajeshwar ,Professor of English ,Kakatiya University ,Warangal and Women Emowerment concerns Dr.Sugandha Ramamoorthi ,Lady Doak College,Madurai,Tamil Nadu. Dr LSS Reddy vice Chancellor K L University graced the occasion with his inspiring speech stressing the need of research on Language and Literature. He suggested young scholars to throw light on the new and neglected areas in research. Dr. AVS Prasad, Pro Vice Chancellor of KL University and other higher officials of University authorities encouraged the scholars with their presence.
