K L Deemed to be University, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has hosted the Rool Out session of APSSDC -Dassault System 3D Experience Center, for 53 Engineering colleges of AP from all 13 districts of the state.
The program was inaugurated by Mr.K.Samabasiva Rao, IRTS, MD &CEO APSSDC and while delivering his inaugural speech he has widely appreciated the facilities and amenities of K L Deemed to be University and specifically the labs of the Mechanical Engineering department. He called upon the engineering colleges Principals and Chairmen to utilise this opportunity extended by APSSDC in Skilling their students and enabling them to be tailor-made for the Industries and jobs and also encourage the students to become Entrepreneurs. Dassault systems is popular for its SOLID WORKS and CATIA software platforms which are widely used in marine engineering design, aerospace design and automobile design applications in allied industries and the skill centers provided by APSSDC through Dassault systems will enable the students of these 53 engineering colleges to get ready for the three sectors of Marine, Aerospace and Automobile in Design skills thus enabling them to get jobs and become well settled in their life. APSSDC through Govt.of AP's Skill Initiatives is spreading the skilling culture among all graduating engineers.
Vice Chancellor KL Deemed to be University Dr.L.S.S.Reddy has expressed that skilling is the mainframe education pattern adopted at KL and all courses are integrated with one of the required skilling modules, thus enabling each student get hands-on over each course and thus become most competent engineer who is fully ready for any type and nature of job of any industry. Later Dr.L.S.S.Reddy and Head Mechanical Engineering Felicitated the MD and CEO Mr.K.Samba Siva Rao of APSSDC and other resource persons of Dassault Systems, Dr.G.Ravi Kumar CGM and Mr.T.Anil Kumar ED of APSSDC and Principals, Chairmen of 53 Engineering Colleges of 13 Districts of AP participated in this event.
