Prof. JS.Rao, Protem Chancellor of KL had received Distinguished Alumnus Award of IIT, Kharagpur from the Prime Minister of India
Prof. Jammi Srinivasa Rao, Protem Chancellor of K L Deemed to be University had been honored by the IIT-Kharagpur with its "Distinguished Alumnus Award" for his outstanding achievements and contributions, during its Diamond Jubilee celebrations on 22nd Aug, 2011. Prof. JS.Rao received a Gold Medal and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
