Call for TIDE 2.0 EiR/Grant Applications Submit Applications

TIDE2.0 Programme at KL University

TIDE 2.0 Scheme will be implemented through empowering 51 incubators across India and handholding close to 2000 tech start-ups over a period of 5 years. The scheme envisions creating a holistic ecosystem to support technology start-ups and incubation centres through identifying and creating necessary linkages. To promote tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support to incubators engaged in supporting ICT start-ups using emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, Block-chain, Robotics etc. in pre identified areas of societal relevance.

The TIDE 2.0 scheme envisages provisioning support to tech start-ups during the entire journey from idea-to-market. The following are the schemes

    (I) Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) (4 Lakh Fund)
  • An EiR is an individual(s)/ Student (s)/ Start-up who need to develop and validate their idea to have a proof-of-concept (PoC) in place. The support to EiR a maximum up to 4 Lakh will be provided to each one as seed fund.
    (ii) Grants (7 Lakh Fund)
  • A Start-up with ready proof-of-concept can be considered eligible for the grant. The Grant is provided to create Minimum Viable Product to advance start-up till Go-to-the-Market stage. The support is for maximum up to 7 Lakh per each start-up as seed fund
    (iii) Investments (Gap & Series Funds) from External sources
  • Any Start-up with product in hand and expects growth, CIIE supports to bring VC's and Investors conducting Investor/VC meetings in collaboration with MeitY for Series fund
