Dr Koneru Swapna

I have been working as an associate professor in the Department of Physics, KLEF since 2007. Currently, heading the department from 2022 December. I have received my Doctoral degree and Master’s degree from KLEF and Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, respectively. I have a total of 18 years of teaching and research experience in my career. I have received two Best Teacher awards and one Young Researcher award and from various bodies. Four Ph.D’s were awarded under my guidance and currently, two research scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. Coming to my research achievements, I received a Women Scientist by DST/WOS-A, an Early Career Research Award, and currently, CO-PI for Core Research grant by SERB DST. I have published more than 68 research papers in highly reputed international journals ranked with Q1 and Q2 and to my credit, so far, I have received more than 2658 citations based on the Scopus database. Besides this, the results of my research work were presented at 55 international and national conferences. My research citation indices as reported by Scopus: h-index: 30, i10-index: 45.
