Events Organised:
1. In a bid to provide insight into virtual instruments and technical computing, widely used for industry academics and research. IEEE – K L University student branch had conducted a one day workshop to introduce students about the technical software platform "MATLAB"on August 23rd 2014. Mrs. SVNL. Lalitha, Mr. KVS. Prasada Rao, Mr. K. Narasimha Raju, and Mr. K. P. Prasad Rao are resource persons.
2. EEE department had organized a Guest Lecture on 25-08-2014. Prof. Debapriya Das, IIT-Kharagpur has delivered guest lecture on Distributed Systems and Distributed Feneration. Professor Debapriya Das is a faculty in the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
3. EEE Department has conducted a Workshop on FUZZY LOGIC TOOL BOX on 26-9-2014. The speakers were MS.S.V.N.L Lalitha(Associate Professor, EEE Department) and Dr.O.Chandrashekar (Professor, EEE Department). It was attended by all third year EEE Students and faculty of EEE department .
4. A Guest lecture was organized on 10-11-2014. Dr. Srinivas Ponnaluri, is working as Vice President and Chief Technology officer in Crompton Greaves ltd., He is a researcher and excellently explores the business world by providing suitable solutions.The guest lecture was attended by B.Tech IV/IV (eee) students and M.Tech (PE & PS).
5. A guest lecture was organized on 03-12-2014 with Mr. M. Srinivas Murthy, Principal, Electric Reliability Council Of Texas as resource person on the topic "Introduction to Real-Time Electricity Markets". The guest lecture was attended by EEE faculty members and M.Tech (Power systems & Power Electronics).

9. ISTE Chapter: 164 students of II Year B.Tech are enrolled for ISTE Membership. 255 students from III B.Tech were enrolled for ISTE, 43 students for IEEE, 5 students for Solar Energy Society.
10. Department Association Activity SPARK was conducted on 29-09-2014. Coordinator for SPARK --- Mr.D Seshi Reddy Mrs. K Sarada.

1. Dr. O. Chandra Sekhar delivered a guest lecture on "Estimation of Power Losses in Multi Level in verters" on 08/12/2014 at Shri Vishnu Engineering College For Women, Bhimavaram.
