K L Deemed to be University, registered with the University Grants Commission (UGC) as Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF), was ranked top 4 in the DigitalLearning Engineering Ranking Survey 2016. Click here to check India's top 50 universities in the engineering space.

KL figures at top 4 among India's private and deemed universities offering undergraduate engineering programs in the magazine's survey. The survey was aimed at unraveling the most trusted university brands in India's technology education.

The survey, which evaluates premier engineering institutions, has two parts:

1. Online voting by students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and general public
2. Assessment by a panel of eminent personalities

In both parts, the survey employs a set of five objective parameters for evaluation: career advancement, academic ecosystem and outcomes, enrichment of learning environment, goodwill legacy and reputation, and future ready academic infrastructure.

In the last three years (2012-15), KL faculty published over 2600 papers in national and international conferences and journals. Over 80 sponsored projects worth Rs.18-crore from the government and industry are currently being carried out at KL.
