About KLU
KL Deemed-to-be University was established in 1980-81 as KL College of Engineering and attained autonomous status in 2006. It was conferred with Deemed University (Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation Deemed to be University) status in the Year 2009, under section 3 of the UGC act 1956.
