VISION:
The Abhinaya club envisions the UNESCO status for KLUSO. The club
devotes itself in working for restoring the cultural heritage. ABHINAYA aims at
leading the world to the new and improved cultural society again into the days,
back when ABHINAYAM was the most vital mode of expression, and when ABHINAYAM
was the language of communication.
MISSION:
The Abhinaya club aspires to hone the students who have the righteous
passion for the theatre arts, by organizing seminars and workshops and inviting
papers and publishing the research papers. The mission of the club is to making
ABHINAYA the synonym for Theatre Arts in the K L University.

(2nd semester of 2014-2015 A.Y.)
ACTION PLAN
The working plan for ABHINAYA Club for this term would be comprised of three phases.
PHASE 1
The phase 1 is entirely aimed at creating awareness among the fellow students it would be carried out by the coordinators and organizers in the club. From times immemorial, drama has been a vital element in spreading awareness. Phase 1 would show case performances from the club members reminding every one of the culture and heritage which is on the verge of being forgotten.
PHASE 2
This would encompass the series of activities from hunt for the interest and eager people to honing them into stage artists activities like intersection competitions in the leisure hours and intra section competitions in the hours meant for the association activities would be conducted to identify the interested and capable students with special care and guidance from the ABHINAYA mentors, the students would be helped to hone their skills.
PHASE 3
Phase 3 is an exposure phase where in, the performances will be the highlight with an agenda
WITH AN ULTIMATE AIM TO MEET THE STANDARDS OF THEATRE ARTS.
Abhinaya club of KLUSO has conducted the event RACHANA-2011, a basic training programme on script writing on 20th December 2011, on the eve of the 130th birthday celebrations of Sri Balijepalli Lakshmikantham- a renowned writer, actor, poet and freedom fighter. Dr.K.Manikyeswara Rao sir (HOD, CWW) has presided over the programme. The co-ordinators and organisers of Abhinaya club and many students who are interested in script writing have taken a major participation and their thirst to learning this art was correctly quenched.
The session started at 2:00 pm with Keshav Ram (president-KLUSO) addressing the gathering followed with a brief presentation about the life history of Sri Balijepalli Lakshmikantham by Gayatri.
Dr.K.Manikyeswara Rao sir paid his tributes by garlanding the photo of Sri Balijepalli Lakshmikantham when everyone present over there paid their humble homage. Later, Sri Teja and Sri Seshu spoke a few words about the significance of conducting RACHANA-2011.
The main session started with Mr.G.Krishna Murthy (cultural trainer, Dramatics) who created awareness about script writing among the participants by reading out scripts of different dramas, TV plays and a movie from which he explained clearly about the points like
Entertainment etched when Sai Harsha cheered up the gathering with his fabulous mimicry performance. Last but not least every student was asked to try their hands at some script of their own which brought up several momentary masterpieces that definitely polished the hidden talents!!!! Event was concluded by 5:00pm.
RAGHAVAM-2011
Observing the 121st birth anniversary of BALLARI RAGHAVAM on August 2nd ,The Abhinaya Club (dramatics club) of KLUSO with the guidance of dramatics trainee-Mr. Krishna Murthy has conducted the event Raghavam-2011.
